How we handle your information.

Hello Building Inc. is a business-to-business commercial subcontractor. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect information submitted to us by general and commercial contractors.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information you provide when you contact us or submit an RFQ — including company and contact details, project information, drawings, specifications and correspondence. We do not knowingly collect information from members of the public or homeowners.

2. How we use it

Information is used solely to review scope, prepare pricing, execute awarded work and communicate with the submitting contractor. We do not sell, rent or share contractor information with third parties for marketing.

3. Drawings and specifications

Project drawings and specifications are treated as confidential contractor information. Files are stored in a private, access-controlled system and are only accessible to authorized Hello Building personnel involved in estimating or executing the project.

4. No solicitation of your client

We do not use contractor-submitted information to contact, market to or pursue the contractor's client — during the project or after handover. See our Contractor Commitment for the full policy.

5. Retention

RFQ records are retained for internal estimating, warranty and legal purposes. Contractors may request removal of their submissions once no active project or warranty obligation exists.

6. Security

Uploaded files are stored in a private storage bucket with row-level security. Downloads use short-lived signed URLs and are limited to authorized administrators. No file is ever exposed through a public URL.
